Anne suffered a massive stroke in 2004. She lost most of her mobility and with the break-up of her marriage she’s now a resident in Killeline Nursing Home, Newcastle West. She has two sons, Billand Michael. Both are very involved in sport. Painting has filled the huge gap in Anne’s life where it devastated her body. It gave her an outlet to escape and gave her a silent voice. Anne’s painting is the use of bold colours and brush strokes.
